Tonight, I am going with my Mom, sis, Nilda and Nick, old family friends (Carmen Velez, The Vargas, The Veras) and my Dad's cousins (in town today before they go to Santo Domingo to holiday for Thanksgiving) to the first Holiday Party ....We are going to "Parran-dena" (a combination of the words "Parranda" and "Puertorriquena"). Simplified it is going to be a big party full of Puertorican food, traditional music, dancing,etc. Mr. S is being spared because he will be with me and my family for Thanksgiving this week and then Christmas soon after .... I can only subject him to so much.
I'm sure it will be a good evening.
