Mid-July update

My head is still full of thoughts after watching the 5 part Torchwood:Children of Earth series. Is it the end of Torchwood? As long as the writer has ideas and is given the opportunity to share them (up to BBC to renew for season 4)..... But there is still Doctor Who and they both exist in the same Universe and writer's mind, so they will intersect.

Last weekend was a whirlwind of "get togethers" and some "debauchery" ... I can say I did get a certain Twist bartender to pose for some "risque" photos and egged on someone to go ahead and get their nipple pierced (NO, not Mr. S)..... I photographic evidence, but will only share them with the exclusive few ....

Had the kid over on Wednesday and got his haircut on Thursday. Mom, my younger sis and him are headed to Puerto Rico for two weeks and will meet up with a bunch of family. My godmother/aunt will be 88 on August 3 (I am sending the gift with them).

Have begun with the planning for the Happening #25 (Youth retreat for High School youth). In the middle of planning the Miami Recognition Dinner and starting to plan Winter Party 2010.

While mom is gone I am planning to do some needed home improvements that are easier to do when I can make a mess and then clean up .... maybe paint the living room, dining room and guest room....

Upcoming soon is the fundraiser for the Task Force and Equality Florida planned by Thomas Barker. All the funds raised go directly to the organizations.

Heard good news today. Alan and Darren from up North will be down the end of August through Labor Day weekend. It is always a joy to see them....
