New Outlooks

Seems like several friends, family members and acquaintances have been going through changes this last month (be it in career, health, family, relationships, faith, travel, etc) . New outlooks are good...change can be good. I try to look at the optimistic side and the positive that may come out of it.

There are some people that prefer to hold on to grudges, anger, hurt or hard feelings and not discuss them or let them go. Some may say it is a sign of immaturity, but I think some people just do not know how to express themselves. This seems to affect those around them and I can no longer deal with that kind of negative energy, so have let these people go and hope that they can find resolution, peace, someone to talk to and support (if they have not already done so). I wish them well and the hand of friendship and an ear is always there if they choose to take it. I do not think anyone has so many friends, that they can easily discard some and keep others.

I have had a different smile on my face the last two weeks (and actually blushed when asked). Was introduced to a nice person by mutual friends and we have been seeing each other. Taking it slow, but I have been more forward and intentional about being vocal about what I want and finding out what they want. We have friends in common and they have inquired about the nature of our relationship.....for now, my answer is that I am dating someone exclusively and we are seeing where it goes from there. (Though, we have already made some plans to be together at some friend's and family events the next two months.) This Friday we are, so far, planning to stay in.....he's cooking dinner for me! We also have plans to go out dancing one night...

Other news. The "Disco de Mayo" party I am planning for my sis and the 40's girls is going forward. It will be a celebration of life, family and friendship. Have made the initial catering plans with J & J Catering and Event Design (786.385.2838). Otherwise known as the Jonnie's.

Ending this post by stating that I will continue to pray for those on my list in need of support, healing, strength and guidance. (If there is anyone you would like me to add, let me know. I will be happy to do so.)

Peace.
